I have a client with this printer and the printouts she's showing me indicate a clogged caddy as she has replaced the ink cartidges several occasions (with new cartridges).
Consequently, the ink caddy that's holding the cartridges is a Canon bjc21e.....and the cartridges are Canon.
But she said it had always worked wonderfully up to now.
That said, does anyone or have a reference of any sort about how to clean the sponge holes that allow the ink flow through to the paper?
It's either that or find another new replacement.
I've found a printhead cleaning cartridge....guess I can suggest that first.
Problem is I just can't recommend something that is going to cost her a lot of money when she could upgrade her system (buy a newer machine than she has - like an older iMac or B&W for really cheap and then buy a USB printer that would work for cheaper in the long run than what she's using - I think it's a Performa 6320 with 16MB
)
Anyways, any suggestions are welcome.
If you have any solutions/vendors you've used for print cleaning supplies, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks in advance, all.
