Some 'market forecasters' are helping promote these rumors. Just yesterday I read about one company suggesting that Apple's stock could easily reach $108 in a few months after they bring out new technologies like "phones, tablets", etc. Of course, Apple refuses to comment about rumors.
I'm not sure there is a big market for tablets ( although I take several every day! ). Phones carry too much baggage with them, IMHO ( contracts, compatibility concerns, access to all networks, etc. ). Home media center hardware/software may be the next thing from Apple, but it have to be acceptable to have the box(es) in a non-computer room before it will be a big market, I think. I'm still enamoured by the computer part, the 'media center'
IS the computer! I don't listen to music like I once did ( who has the time? ) nor do I care much for the junque coming out of Hollywood in the last few years. Oh well, maybe
