How do you spell . . . cleaned our clock . . . in Crocodilese?  Thinking.gif

On this "given day" the better team is ("winning" strike that .) won . . clearly.

Congratulations, Florida!

Congratulaions to the Florida Gators...we had no answer for the offensive schemes they ran. Their defense was tough as hell. Our offensive line couldn't stop them. Congrats again!!!

Troy Smith may be the first heisman trophy winner not be drafted in the first round by the NFL. 4 of 14 that's really, really bad, bad!! 35 yards. WOW what heck happen.

Not trying to make excuses, but the Heisman hex was on for sure and I believe the 51 day layoff did hurt. Florida just had the better team on the field last night. We couldn't stop their defense.  Congrats again...

I think they really lost their spirit when Ginn got injured (and while celebrating, too!). Smith lost his favorite play-mate and the other team didn't give them a chance to readjust.

Let's face it, Big Ten fans, in the Big Games in the major men's sports, our favorite conference has been an "also ran" for many, many years. The Buckeyes and Wolverines bombed big time in the Big BCS Bowl games. OSU was just not on its game at all. Neither was Michigan. No excuses, "we" just don't play well in the Big Games.

In basketball, the men have never won the Big Ten - ACC Challenge. Illinois choked on North Carolina in the Final Two.

Some Florida sportswriter is bound to compile the statistics for us that prove my premise. It's only a matter of minutes....

As President Bush said about the recent election, "OSU got thumped".
Cheers, Tom

You have to watch the media hype, then the teams themselves. I knew OSU was good but there was noway that this game was going to be a walk in the park for them against the shear determination alone that Florida has demonstrated this year. Sure OSU would have played a better game had Ginn been in it, and I wish he had, just to make it a fair contest, but I don’t think the outcome would have been changed. Even the coaching staff of UF played smarter, and of course we have Tebow. wink.gif

Florida has demonstrated the ability to play smart and play fast and it often times dazzles their opponents as was apparent last evening. I like it when the media hasn’t a clue, it makes the odds better, in my favor.  cheer.gif

Analysis:
It appears that the Gallant Lads in Scarlet and Gray from the Valley of the Olentangy forgot that they need to win in three, (count 'em, 3) seasons:
  1. All the autumn games played prior to the 3d Satuurday in November
  2. The Game played each 3d Saturday in November
  3. The game played (whenever) following the 3d Saturday in November
BTW, how come they can't wear Scarlet and Gray, irrespective of who's the "home team" and who isn't, in Arizona ferhevensakes?  coolio.gif  Now, there's a good excuse, Kathy!
