Seagate 300GB Firewire/USB 2 external drive
« on: January 22, 2007, 03:19:09 PM »
The price sure is right.

See page 24 of this weeks Best Buy ad.

No gimics (I think) No rebates, just an excellent price.

I thought that $150 was very good on Amazon, then I saw this. There have been several sales on this drive in recent weeks from the likes of Office Max.

Is it being replaced??

Anyway, an excellent drive at a fantastic price!

Already thrown out that stuff. Even an external Seagate 300GB drive is $155 on their web site?

Never mind! Here's a link to the external model of which you speak, I think.
<Seagate 300GB Wirewire/USB 2.0 package>

But, why would they charge more for the SATA, bare bones model? Bad bunch of interface boards? dntknw.gif
