Will the non-beta version of Boot Camp be worth $29?

The first time I saw that Boot Camp was beta I assumed a day of reckoning was coming.  I don't think 22 copies at $29 apiece is going to break the program we have going at one of our locations; but will it be worth it to everyone?  Is it better than the other solutions?

Keep in mind that price is only for Tiger users. Leopard will have Bootcamp included, so if you upgrade to that you won't have to pay an extra $29 for bootcamp.

I'll get my Leopard for about 29 or 49 bucks, or it may be 59, not sure, but since I am a student, and I purchased a new iMac last Oct., I am eligible for a discount, and I do use those discounts. cheer.gif

I am a  cheer.gif happy cheer.gif  Apple consumer, but it woauld be very nice if Apple sold a computer OS X and Vista together, and then get a bigger discount. eek2.gif

Your copy of leopard will be $79. This will be the first version of OS X that I won't be able to get at the student discounted price. Oh well, I guess that's the price of getting a regular pay check smile.gif

I can see some uses which make use of some hardware that would require Boot Camp. Otherwise, I don't see why anyone would want to use it, especially with the re-booting requirements. Seems like a lot of wasted time booting/rebooting and still not having the drag-n-drop capabilities of Parallel or CrossOver. I'm just glad that I won't be using any of those apps. At least I'm hoping that the forecast exodus of Mac developers that did not materialize after the switch to Intel chips will continue. whew.gif
