I know it's called a KVM switch, but.... I have an older Apple Studio Display, with ADC, connected to a G4 Cube.  I'd like to share the monitor occasionaly with the MacBookPro, which has a DVI connector.  So, I'd need a way to change the ADC to the DVI if I just even wanted to switch the monitor between the two.

Suggestions?

Can be done but ADC makes it really expensive.

That ACD CRT is really a problem to use as a second Monitor.

For ACD LCDs there's this.

Apple DVI to ADC adapter About $99 everywhere.

Don't think it works with the CRT but you could ask them.

There was a Software solution I posted here some time ago. Can't find it.

Found this. Not sure if that was it or not.

ScreenRecycler allows you to use any networked computer as additional display.

Most Mac users have a spare computer sitting right next to their main computer on their desk (like the old iMac). ScreenRecycler now enables you to use this spare computer as second display for your Mac. You can even use an idle machine for that purpose. Just start ScreenRecycler on your Mac then connect to ScreenRecycler via VNC from your old machine."

Yes! ScreenRecycler is what the software i was thinking of!
I've yet to try that out with my two MacBooks, but will and get back to you.
