PCMCIA card on PowerBook G4
« on: February 28, 2007, 05:58:03 PM »
Hi,

Anybody out there with a PowerBook G4 ever use a PCMCIA card on it to read SD flash cards?

Amazon has this card reader for $30:

Looks like a good deal.

Opinions?

Thanks, Jack

I carry a small USB memory card reader, that I got for less than $20, in my laptop bag. I have an Airport car in the PC slot of my G3 Pismo. If I need to dump pics from my digital camera's memory card, I just plug in the reader. The reader will interface over 30 types of cards.
Cheers, Tom

I'm thinking of purchasing a USB PCMCIA Card Reader for my MacBook, so i can plug in a Cingular Wireless card into it.

Suggestions?

Not PCMCIA, but I use this for my camera/data SD cards. Works great .
