Make a Flash/Thumb Drive Bootable
« on: March 13, 2007, 06:52:21 AM »
In case you missed it (or care)...

Mac troubleshooter Ted Landau posted a Web page on his blog that describes how to make a boot drive from a 1GB (minimum) flash (or thumb) drive.

Repair/recovery applications can be added to make the flash drive an indispensable all-around troubleshooting/fixing tool.

The fairly simple steps are located Here.

Thanks for the info.

I have a small FW/USB drive (60G) that is about the size of a pack of cigarettes but half the thickness. Very easy to carry around though I do need to have a small cable, too.

By the time I go Intel there probably will be many more choices (and cheaper) for boot thumb drives.
