OT: Will it come to this in the US?

This is from Boing Boing and the commentators wondered whether the lack of other prohibitions (larger weapons, elephants) might mean the store owner was okay with them!  I suppose the one is supposed to be a knife but looks more like a broadsword!

While driving through Missouri the other day, I stopped for gas at a truck stop. They had the "no guns" decal on every entry door.

Yep, Kansas just passed the concealed carry last year (?) and we've got a lot of the gun signs going up; I suppose this will keep the places from being robbed at gunpoint!  

JWBoyd - My cousin's husband is a truck driver and he's carried a gun for years in a well-hidden place in his truck (no I don't know where).  I would imagine that a lot of truck drivers fancy themselves to by gunslingers or in danger.
