Tired of the inconsistencies of the X gui?

Won't fix everything, GarageBand does it's own thing, apparently. wallbash.gif But these screenshots indicate some improvements. Subtle, but nice! clap.gif

I prefer more subtle 'effects' in most visual displays or at least the option to choose one. If you like the GarageBand gui, you probably love what passes for style on a PC! laugh.gif

On the other hand, I'm seeing things that I don't like about the UNO changes; text in the lower info bar of Finder windows is not as readable, many icons display a white 'shadow' in normal view ( probably the 'mask' showing up against the different colored background dntknw.gif ), GarageBand and iTunes refuse to 'comply'...
