He never said it couldn't be done, he just didn't have the time to figure it out, even with top-level, "expert" help from the companies involved!
I know Jim, I didn’t have time to go to the moon, just couldn’t figure out how to launch my Jacuzzi.
I would call my sales representative and ask him why my Jets don’t perform like the Jets on a Lunar Rocket or maybe I’ll just write a piece about my failure and drop a few names like G.E. and Raytheon.

I suppose a generic, non-power-user would have no trouble?
Let’s see, I set up a Netgear router at my neighbors house next door. They have a HP Pavilion. I didn’t choose Netgear but rather MS software configuration and the task was simply automated. Another friend who has Sony equipment and knows absolutely nothing about this or most computer technologies went through the process on their own with ease and success on a Netgear router that I purchased for them from Amazon. Their N netgear router runs 2-3 as fast as mine, 150,000+ in peak hours.
We use netgear routers and antennas from the boats to Netgear routers on shore. The Coast Guard station on the beach uses Netgear routers that seems to work in excess of a mile. All these were set up by non professionals and seem to perform within the variables that are defined in the instruction manual.
If Apple makes a good router fine, but it’s not better just because Pogue can’t get his Netgear to work. He also mentioned Linksys and it’s failure to perform to his standards, but I suspect Cisco (Linksys base company), the Mother or all Networking knows how to build a router to meet the standards they advertise.
The Flick and the subsequent article was Flawed in its comparative analysis from my perspective, though I do admit it was Entertaining!
