Virex definitions download

I get the .hqx file to show up on my desktop, but it does not automatically expand, as it has in the past. When I drag it to the Stuffit Expander icon, it "churns" for a few seconds, but no new file appears. (I have Desktop selected for this) This has been a problem for the last few months. This time, every effort fails.

Are any other Virex users out there having a similar experience?

Don't use virex but I went to this page and downloaded the file for version 6 and opened the hqx fine. Is that the one you are having trouble unstuffing?

 Do you have the latest version of Expander that you can use?

Have you tried to download again, maybe it was corrupted?

If that fails I could upload it unstuffed to one of those online places for you to download. It is almost 4MB in size. Or I could email it if you can handle large files through your ISP mail.

Yes, that's the file.

I'll have to research the compatible version of Expander and see if I can upgrade or not. But, it worked before. It would seem counter intuitive for them to change the version needed for 6.x since that's an older one itself.

Yes, I've tried three times. It will soon be time for the new file to be released.
