Toxic Waste!
I thought it was interesting that it is to be Windows XP and not Vista; of course most of those folks might not have the hardware to run Vista! There is also the fact that Microsoft Vista isn't selling well at all in places like China:

If I had some of that old hardware I'd be much happier running Linux than a stripped down XP (although maybe they could strip all the bloat out of it).
