Putting the "Leopard" delay in perspective
« on: April 19, 2007, 11:02:51 AM »
True story....

As the snow melts and the sun begins to shine more often, neighbors emerge and greet one another over the fences.... coolio.gif  flower-smilie.gif

My neighbor, who's son-in-law is a 'computer whiz', recently got a new PEECEE with Vista.  But now he is having a problem with his HDD filling up, as he has NO WAY of deleting the 'junk' mail building up on it... huh.gif

His S-I-L called the 'tech support' at M$ and was told 'to be patient', as "We are working on this problem and will probably have a fix or new program out in a couple of months".... Look.gif

He's wondering what he'll do with the 'new' computer with the full HDD till they get the 'new program' out... oops.gif

Thank you, Apple!!  Do a good job of testing and fine tuning Leopard...

Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

RNKIII - They're indicating this is some sort of "junk collection" function that isn't working?  That's wild!  eek2.gif  By the way I like your new sub-avatar line about being a PBS mind in a Fox News World.  I'm forever turning the channel in the break room away from Fox News and I'm thinking of blocking it where it comes into the building!   smile.gif

I don't think you'll gain many friends if you block the sewer lines! laugh.gif
