Consumer advice, please, re Comp-U-Plus
« on: April 19, 2007, 06:39:12 PM »
Has anyone ever done business with these guys . . .Comp-U-Plus

No, they're not IncompUSA.

Looks like they've been in business 20 years or so. They seem to have proper on-line "credentials" but I wonder about the "real world", i.e the one inhabited by TeeEss-ers!   clap.gif

My son-in-law has a new job and I want to get him a TomTom One 510 and the prices here are the best I've found.

Anyone know anything about Comp-U-Plus' reliability/service?

Somewhere in NY.

I would be very grateful for any advice.

WhooHoo.

Just got a phone call from The Tortoise (who still peeks in here from time to time) giving me his "seal of approval".

He's dealt with them for a number of years with complete satisfaction.

Thank you.

I ordered a DVD burner from them last year and everything worked out just fine; they even accidentally sent it faster than I paid for.  I guess I didn't pick them because of reputation but it does seem pretty good!  Good luck with whatever you're purchasing!

You couldn't coax him into posting??
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.
