This legislation needs to be reversed - contact your legislators to support the legislation filed recently that would reverse this truly stupid money-grab that will result in the demise of almost all non-commercial/small internet broadcasters!

Paddy this is no stopping it or reversing it, bit by bit the internet is going to belong to the carriers and those who pay them.
Everything, even death has a price, to think that this was going to go on forever at the expense of others, in some instances was just a dream. You wouldn't believe the battles we're having just to build a free wifi system, "Metrofi" and the army of lawyers that the carriers like at&t, Verizon and Time Warner can produce. They want their pound of flesh and will get it.

If the owners and or creators of music do not want their creations to be aired without payment then so be it, it will come down to listening to those who do. I decided a few years ago to buy XM radio and be done with the issue. Once you have XM you'll never go back. http://www.xmradio.com/
