Regarding their breaking privacy promises and selling personal information...just received the little folder with my account report today. The so-called remedies are ridiculous.
Found this and a good sample letter for those who want to push the issue.

It's been sometime since I've been a customer of Nations/BoA. I moved our accounts in 1998 i think and never looked back. Then
First Union
became Wachovia and
Nations
ate the BoA but lost their name in the process.

They bought out MBNA where I had a bunch of accounts connected to NEA special deals.
I was dragged into this.

I had an MBNA account and was a bit surprised when I started getting BOA statements. Their settlement proposal sucks...I don't think I'll be getting a new mortgage anytime soon
