I don't know about the iPhone but most cells can be run off generic battery units that you can buy pretty cheaply. They take a few AAA batteries and plug into the charging plug area. I have one and it came with about 8 different adapters for several makes of phones. I suppose Griffin or someone like that will come up with one just for the iPhone.  smile.gif
