I subscribe to a software listserv from IBM and back in July they had this posting about using the Eclipse IDE for Java development on the OS X platform:

I've used Eclipse a little bit ("Hello World!") under Windows and it seems like a good environment for Java programming. Anyway forgive me if I posted this in July but I don't find it in a search and it was brought up by Slashdot today so I decided to post it now!

Java!!!
Aaaaargh.
For me J*** is four letter word. I really don't like it. It is horribly slow (in all apps I have used at work).
