I don't want to be seen as highjacking this thread, but I'm having problems with my new iMac's wireless keyboard and this is a great opportunity to extend the keyboard-quality discussion. However, Peter, should you wish it, I'll be happy to start a new thread.

Yup that's exactly the way it "records" anything I attempt to type at
any but the
s-l-o-w-e-s-t speed. Granted, I'm hardly a whiz at typing after 60 years of practicing, but this board is
so ulta-sensitive that it's about to drive me up a/the/any wall.
Comment Nr. 2: You know when your wireless KB 's batteries are weakening (similar to a wireless mouse) in that output(s) become simply irrational.
Comment Nr. 3: I often get simply krazy effects from either a malfunctioning CapsLock key or the left-Shift key: all caps coming out of seemingly nowhere, with the possibility of foreign characters appearing univited. Disconnecting will "help" but for crying out loud . . . yes, I'm planning on taking it down to the Apple Store to see what they can discover/remedy.

I fear this will take a Merlin rather than a Mavis to set things right!
No KB I've ever owned has "behaved" like this little puppy.
