This question is regarding my wife's G4 iBook.
Today I attempted to replace an application with a new version by the drag-and-drop method. I got a window telling me that I don't have sufficient permissions to complete the operation.
I was logged-in on my wife's account and she has administrator status. When I checked the permissions it appears that she has read/write privileges when it comes to the Applications folder.
This has come up in the past but I haven't taken the time to figure it out... This time I just deleted the old app and then added the new app without a problem.
Any ideas why this keeps popping-up and how I can fix it once and for all?
