This OLDE chestnut may have appeared on TeeEss ere this, but you'll enjoy it again, especially if you were born before 1950.

Anyone caught NOT smiling at this REAL MUSIC will be subject to Severe Sanction by the Senior Caucus of TeeEss (SSBTSCOTS)

Turn-up the volume . . . Oh my!

Great one, Dick!

I'm even adding the link to my annual Christmas letter to family and friends, which I plan to finish composing today.

Merry Christmas to you.

Very clever and nice animation!  Thanks Dick!  I'm not really mature; just old for the age I act! smile.gif

It's simply hysterical . . . for reasons I can't clearly identify (I just looked/listened, again)

The tapping right foot (ankle?), the studied sashay across the stage and back, all carefully illuminated by the amber spot, the "girl" back-up singer . . . Der Bingle, hisself (I guess)

It's got it all!

Like I said, "Hysterical."

APPLAUSE!

Most enjoyable.

So who's singing?

Vaughn Monroe maybe?

I've been searching for Vaughn Monroe singing "Let It Snow" -- only I want the version without all the extra singers. I may have to rip it out of our Die Hard 2 CD. wink.gif

Good old Google - search "Phrase": White Christmas; "must contain" joshua held animation;

First result is a post from Techsurvivors 2005 archive asking who's singing it! whistling.gif

Third post from nz.yahoo.answers backs up the view it's Clyde McPhatter and the Drifters, supported by further posts.

Reading through that archive thread gives one a distinct feeling of deja vu  wink.gif though sadly some  names on there are no longer here... sad.gif

Thanks, HighMac . . .

I wonder if Google could get my memory back.  whistling.gif

I thought I'd remembered it might have been posted here before . . . I surely didn't recall who did it, nor all the delightful discussion in the thread.

Merry Christmas!

Thanks, Highmac!

Back in 2005 I wasn't here a lot and when I was I wasn't following a lot of links because we had the ol' laptop with no bells or whistles or anything ... so I missed this.

RHP, I'm glad you reposted it. smile.gif

Just goes to show how the brain can let you down (mine anyway). I vaguely remembered seeing this animation but not from where, nor that I contributed to the original discussion.

Now that you mention it, I haven't been on one in over 25 years. Would make an interesting experiment. smile.gif
