Woohoo! That was the only thing keeping me from updating the G5 (my primary machine). Well, apart from laziness...and/or lack of time, not wanting to have to use CCC instead...and other assorted excuses! wink.gif

Already have Leopard on the MBP, which isn't a mission-critical machine and like it a lot.

My main question is will it work with Windows XP partitions?  I'll ask at the website; but if it will I'd buy it today!

Don't even think of trying to download SD! today... The Shirt Pocket Software is overloaded with download requests and is unresponsive.

It took several tries but I got it via MacUpDate.

It doesn't matter whether you go to VersionTracker or MacUpDate... all SuperDuper! links lead back to the same server.  As far as I can tell there are no "mirrors."

I used SD! 2.5 to update a cloned volume and iTunes music folder on two external drives and it went smoothly.  I'm still using Tiger.

Downloaded it today lickety split and ran it to performed daily backup chores. Worked beutifully and was certainly faster that the previous version.

For those puzzled by the disconnect, I could not access TS no way, no how under my usual ID. So I set an account for my wife Mary JO and here I am. kriisel has put ina ticket to see if the server people can figure out the source of the problem.

Not sure which version of OS X you're using but since 10.4.4 (I think) it has been able to run all the daily/weekly/monthly tasks without any help from the user. It simply keeps track of when they were last run and compares that time to the current time and runs them as needed. It does use a different mechanism to run them but that's too geeky for me to remember. The point is, there is no need to have special apps or to leave the machine on 24/7 to have this maintenance stuff done anymore. I'm betting you know this, however, and just enjoy seeing it done when you want it done. I'm somewhat a 'control-freak' myself. Some would say more of the latter, in fact! smile.gif tease.gif
