Uhm, I don't see any 'script' in there. My source view shows several dozen CSS declarations. And duplicate ones for mozilla browsers. They simply relpace the text to spcified colors where the text is. Still, quite an example of what a litle Style Sheets can do, even if it is not very practical.

Wow, That is really neat!
I wonder if you could copy the code, put in all new text and then set it up to work with a different word than Google?
I know I would not have a clue of how to do it, but I think it could be done.
Wouldnt that be a great final exam for a CSS class.
Thanks for that link, I might run it by my photoshop classmates.

That "Google" is not really a "word." it is simply a few differently colored pixels (defined in one of the CSS elements) that replace the real words when you try to select them. You could have practically any other "word" appear if you take the time to plot it out on a grid. Tedious is the first thought that comes to mind. The technique is often used for replacing one graphic for another such as in a menu. It can be made to look like a button being depressed when you click on it, for example.

More like a mouse down, an 'active' ( I think ) instead of a 'hover' mode.

I am just learning about mouseovers, I never had a clue of how to do them. But a classmate showed us how to do triples, like this one,

Yes I admit these are a bit whacky, but this class is so much fun that we all do stuff like this. Mine is nothing compared with the fun stuff that my classmates are doing, we have so much fun!

They are actually easy to do, as the code is all on Dynamic Drive for people do download and use.
Then you have to make the pictures the same size.
