I'm just curious ... does anyone here have MacJournal? If so, have you launched it today (3/17)? If so ... did the icon in the dock turn green?

I've noticed that my doc icon for this app changes color, and I thought maybe there was something wrong ... but having it show up green on St. Patrick's Day cracked me up and made me think it was a coding thing in the program.

Oops ... was typing as Paddy posted ...

MacJournal is journaling software from the Mariner Software folks. Guess it's primary use is for bloggers as it easily creates and exports to blogs. It handles movies, pics, etc, etc, etc.

I use it as a "diary/record keeper" of sorts. I keep a "recipe diary", and a "book diary", and a personal diary. I find it handier than opening a spread sheet or downloading/paying for a bunch of different databases.

You can check it out here:

No big deal. The Chicago river turns green on St. Pat's day every year.

Come to think of it, not sure what color it is the rest of the year.... dntknw.gif
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

The Chicago River is dirty colored the rest of the year. wink.gif

I found out that it's a built in easter egg in the program. Seems the author has built loads of them in the program. I found one by clicking around ... hahaha ... he does have a sense of humor.
