The Oregon Trail Game

I just bought The Oregon Trail 5th Edition for my son.  I loaded it onto my Intel iMac running Tiger.  Message popped up asking for New York font.  Loaded the font from an old OS 9 Cd I have.  The game now starts up fine but having another problem.  The audio cut in and out when the characters are speaking.

Anyone else try this game with Tiger or newer with any success?

Unfortunately this is a known problem and the manufacturer doesn't guarantee Mac use over 10.3.

However if you have Windows on your Intel you might be able to get it to work. Some people here did.

Thank you very much for that information, krissel.  My son does have my old iMac in his room running OS 9.1.  We will have to play the game on it.
