Heaven help us if MS wins...Rogers uses Yahoo for email and I will be one very unhappy customer if MS comes in and turns it into something like (shudder) MSN. mad.gif

I think one of the people posting a comment at MacNN had the right take on it - Balmer is a thug.

Couldn't agree more. I can't imagine all the email lists/groups at yahoo being run by microslush.

Those who have said Gates (and Jobs) were "evil and greedy" haven't seen anything. Balmer is worse than a thug.

My opinion ( and we all know what that's worth! ), MS just has too much cash laying around and Yahoo is the only 'big' and available Internet player left. I tend to agree with some analysts that MS is offering way too much and that Yahoo is stupid to rush into MS's arms while they can get so much more than they are worth! I also hate to see the 8,000# gorilla getting ready to drop from its tree. Could also be either Mr. Bill’s last effort to control things or the second teams attempt to prove they can keep the behemoth under control. Who knows? dntknw.gif
