And what about 'cruelty to animals?' Where is the NZ-SPCA?! tomato.gif
THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

That's so sad. Has someone started a hedgehog fund? bump.gif
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

It would obviously have been no help to that particular hedgehog (12,000 miles away and dead...) but the UK has its own hedgehog hospital, St Tiggywinkles. At least, it started off with hedgehogs and now deals with all sorts of British wildlife. Remember we don't have anything like the big cats, bears and so on that you have over there!

It's named after Mrs Tiggywinkle, a hedgehog character in the children's Peter Rabbit books, written by Beatrix Potter. Known by millions in the UK but don't know if the fame spread outside these shores.

Beatrix Potter's books are pretty well known in America as well; I was interested in seeing that there was movie made about her life in the past few years and I'll probably try to get ahold of it to view!

I have a 44 year old stuffed animal hedgehog I'm proud to say...and a somewhat newer one that was purchased for my dog but I thought it was too cute to be chewed. It grunts.

I'm not a big "P" PETA person but I can't see being purposely cruel to an animal (or to a person as well in this case); I hope there are some serious penalties for this idiot!
