Upcoming road trip
« on: May 24, 2008, 09:08:16 AM »
Wife and I are planning a 3-week road trip, beginning June 16, 2008.

Will take us through Memphis, Little Rock, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas, Oklahoma City, Wichita, Kansas City, and Saint Louis.

Will share contact information with interested TS members along that route. Maybe we could do lunch . . . or something.

Joe

He'll be fine if you tell him you'd like to sample some of the local barbecue! rolleyes.gif

He be even finer if he was even in the same state as Memphis! Alas, I'll be 15 miles North of Columbia, MO starting June 12. If it weren't for the Grandkids, I'd be happier to stay nearer the Mississippi than the Missouri! But the farm is a great place to get away from aproximately 99.999999783% of the world! It's at least 8 miles to the nearest store! Cell phones sometimes work if you stand in just the right spot on the hill! laugh.gif

I do have a Brother outside of Wichita...maybe I could get Judy to 'forget' which way we drive back from the farm...but I suspect her parents will be in the same car and her Mother knows everything. I'm serious, just ask her! eek2.gif

Anyway, I hope your trip is enjoyable, safe and memorable! salute.gif

THERE ARE TWO TYPES OF COUNTRIES
Those that use metric = #1 Measurement system
And the United States = The Banana system
CAUTION! Childhood vaccinations cause adults!

Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

I would be happy to have lunch or something with you in K.C. / Lawrence / Topeka if we could work out the details!  It might just be me if my wife is still recovering.  Send me a private or a public if you'd care to!
