ADSR, you ARE running Tiger, not Leopard, aren't you? Just thought we should verify that. DW 4.0 should not be run on a Mac running 10.5.

If you're running Tiger, I don't know if updating DW to 4.1 (it's a free download - you burn a new CD) will help this rather odd situation or not, but certainly worth a try. Also do you have any login items enabled? If so, try disabling those and see if it makes any difference. That was suggested on a forum by someone from Alsoft.

I'd also suggest that you contact Alsoft's tech support; http://www.alsoft.com/Support/techsupportform.html

Describe the problem in detail, including the OS, the Macs, the drives etc. Let us know if they have any ideas!
