You know those geese

that you dress up like a doll and put on your porch? hehehe

I've always threatened to get 2 and dress them up. hehehe

Well ... I think I just might have to follow through on my threat. hehehe

The newest Miles Kimball catalog hit our mailbox yesterday and inside I found these:

heheheHAHAHA

Immediately I thought of the scene in Young Frankenstein where Elizabeth (played by Madeline Kahn) sings ... Ah! sweet mystery of life at last I've found you.

heheheHAHAHA

Yeah, I'm gonna have to get a pair of geese and dress 'em up and set them on our porch. They'll look great in front of our orange door.

heheheHAHAHA

Not the ones I eat at Xmas then?  Devilish2.gif

Sorry, for me goose and duck = tasty meal and very nice roast potatoes for months afterwards using the fat.

I know, I know, us cardiac folks should not eat fat but it doesn't seem to harm the French so who am I to disagree whistling.gif

Someone down the street has a small flock(?) of penguins in the front yard, attired for the season or holiday/special event. I've often wondered how much space all of their props take up.
Ya gotta applaud those bunnies for sacrificing their hearing just so some guy in Cupertino can have better TV reception.

Well, that would be comparing a couple of bear shirts to a wardrobe for penguins. That's probably never been done before. wink.gif

There's another house around the corner from us that always is decorated for every special day on the calendar. Not just holidays; they go all out for St. Patrick's Day, Veteran's Day, Arbor Day, Monday, etc.

The cars are in their garage, so all that stuff must fill up their basement!

I've always thought this would be fun. Mac never has. toothgrin.gif

Where we used to live, there was house up the street that had this yard display with a fountain and such. One Christmas they had decorated their house with loads of lights and a Santa, a nativity and other things. They also decorated the fountain display with lights and baubles and they added this BIG plastic goose. It was just a white goose - no décor of any kind. So ... one night while we were walking, we stopped and I tied this big red neck scarf around the neck of the goose. Figured they'd take it away, but they left it and the next year he was wearing his red scarf. biggrin.gif  Always cracked me up.
