iphoto 2
« on: May 15, 2003, 10:11:14 PM »
The red eye feature quit working when I upgraded to 10.2.5 and now 10.2.6 It stays grayed out no matter what I do. I trashed the .plist to no avail.
When using PhotoShop Elements 2.0 the red eye feature works great, but it increases the photo's file size from 175KB to 4.6MB. Consequently it is best used just before printing and then trash the .psd file when printing is completed.
Any ideas on clearing up the problems on iphoto red eye feature?

Gmann, did you happen to repair your permissions after the upgrade? If not, try that (since you have already dumped the plist to no avail). You never know!

If that doesn't work, then you may want to trash iPhoto and reinstall. I couldn't find anything on particular features of iPhoto going south after the upgrade to 10.2.6 when I looked in the Apple iPhoto discussions.

I dumped iphoto and downloaded it again overnite. That corrected the problem. 33.3 MB download on a dialup wow.
