Anyone tried Mozilla Firebird yet?

ZOOM - this is one fast browser! Think it might beat Safari in the speed department!

Apparently this is where Mozilla will go eventually - Phoenix has been reborn as Firebird - though this is just an Alpha version. Still, pretty good so far - though it has a few glitches - either I'm doing something wrong or the Google search window to the right of the URL doesn't work. It's also a little goofy when I'm typing things here - sometimes takes several clicks to get the cursor to show up properly. Though the editing window seems to be fine. smile.gif Could have something to do with the theme too - for instance, right now I can't see the vertical slider, though clicking where it should be moves the contents of the window up and down.

They've also released a new mail client - Minotaur.

You can read about it and download from:

So many browsers...so little time!! wacko.gif

I'm watching Firebird until it makes beta. I'm done with browser testing. wink.gif

Besides, three browsers is quite enough for me.  wacko.gif

Just downloaded it.

It's fast. Perhaps faster than Safari.
But I prefer Safari. Because speed isn't everything.
