Here's the story: Woman's Record-Breaking Fingernails Shattered in Crash

She's 67/68 years old, hasn’t cut her fingernails since 1979 ... EEEEEWWWWWW!

Here's one image I found on the web. Her fingers look deformed to me, and her cuticles just look icky!

I don't understand folks. I really don't.

How could she do anything with what I would describe only as a deformity like that? IMHO, she could not even sign a welfare check... Certainly no job that required the use of ones hands, including motherhood!

The secretary at our school had nails that were really long, maybe an inch from the end of the finger. She typed with the side of her finger/nail and was pretty quick. We would watch her and be amazed at how she adapted. Why did she do it?

I'm still shaking my head over this woman's nails. I keep mine short, otherwise they bother me.

I bet she can't garden. Can you picture her trying to put on gardening gloves?
