From a tip I picked up at MFI-

Apparently iTunes 4 created it's own updated library but left a copy of the old iTunes 3 one behind. You can delete that file if you have no longer need an iTunes 3 compatible library.

Thanks for the tip, Harv!

I never looked "into" iTunes before. It's interesting that the iTunes history is kept in an xml file. I dropped the file onto Safari to view it. Apparently, it keeps track of all the iTunes Music Store visits.
