Software update
« on: May 28, 2003, 09:16:15 AM »
Though I have never used it , When i try to activate Software Update from the Control panel a window opens reading "Software Update is not able to Run" All extensions for this are turned on.

I'm using a Titanium Powerbook using Mac OS 9.2.

What do I need to do to activate Software Update?

Not sure macferg. But there's very little to Update any more in OS 9.x smile.gif

You can look around.

Thanks, Kelly! Oddly enough my desktop G4 Software update works and  is still sending software updates for downloading to Mac 9.2.
I just can't figure out why it's not working on my Titanium laptop.
I've owned Macintoshes since 1981 (still have the Apple IIC) but it seems each computer has it's own quirks!!!! even with the same operating system (i.e. Mac os 9.2, etc)

I'll link to your suggestedsight and see what happens.
