Hi dolphin.
- I scanned my initials with my Epson CX 4200 Printer/Scanner.
- Using Command-Shift-4 I selected in the scanned picture the area around my initials.
- Opened the selected file with Graphics Converter.
- Enhanced the saturation and saved it as a .jpg.
- I uploaded the .jpg picture to Web Host Boomspeed.com.
- This provided me with a web address of my initials picture. In this case
http://www.boomspeed.com/jb99/jb.jpg.
(The jb.jpg at the end of the address is the title of my initials picture.)
- I “signed” my post using Techsurvivors’ Image button on the upper row of the reply page.
For your info, I also signed my emails with the initials picture. But in this case I only have to drag the initials picture to the end of the email. Note that this is not an attachment. I use Eudora as my email client. I don’t know if one can simply drag a picture unto an email with other email client such as Apple’s Mail.
JB...thanks for the info...I'll try it.
