Found them!

Here are the two pics of the TV with 'live' images. The first is as they were coming in for a landing, the second is obvious.

These two shots were from the ramp to an overpass near the United Nations building in NYC during the welcome back tickertape parade. ( I always have trouble looking at these pics as they bring back similar images from the Kennedy assassination.)

Do you see the joint compound coming out of the horizontal joint in that first image? I guess they didn't think those ancient cameras could pick up that detail...dntknw.gif laughhard.gif

BTW, I watched much of the Discovery series on Apollo 11 last week. Never did see any movement of the flag, except when someone was touching it or the pole...dntknw.gif Oh yeah, when they blasted off, the exhaust gases made it move, also...Basic physics, IMHO.
