Over the last several days, my iMac has developed issues on wakeup. When I wake it up in the morning, I get a spinning cursor. Occasionally, I need to turn the computer off, and back on. I can not restart it from the menu. In addition, occasionally I have a problem with a program while I am using the computer, sometimes Photoshop, sometimes Mail or Safari. Again, the spinning cursor, and when I attempt to force quit, the item turns red, has the word Rosetta in parentheses next to it, and does NOT quit. Again, I can not restart, or log out, but have to turn off the computer.
I have repaired permissions, I have run Disk Warrior, and still have the problem. I have not installed any new software, or changed anything which I am aware of. Does anyone have an answer? Thanks in advance.
