Mouse weel and Netscape 7.02
« on: June 02, 2003, 03:14:12 PM »
sad.gif  I like very much the speed of Netcape 7.02 (at least for me, it works great), but the only thing that is annoying is that the mouse weel on my Kensington TurboBall can't work on the program.
I have the Mouse Works 5.7 (I think is the last for classic), and I tried on the prefs in Netscape and in the Mouse Works Apps... nothing.

That's the only thing for change IE to Netscape...

If anyone could put some light on this, I'll be grateful...

Thanks for your time and help

ballester,

I'm not sure about the Kensington.I use a Logitech and mine works fine.

Did you try Netcape->Preferences->Advanced->Use System Default?

That's what I have.

I hope it works. smile.gif

I've noticed that my wheel (Microsoft Intellimouse 5 button) works here at TS and many places but not everywhere in Netscape and sometimes not even in IE. The site mentioned below will not wheel scroll in either browser.

And here's a touch of irony.
I was just at this page, reading about the fact that Microsoft does not plan to have any new standalone upgrades for IE for Windows as it will be totally built into the system. He gave no comment on the Mac version. The irony is that the page will not fuly load with scroll bars in IE, it does in Netscape 7.

(Oh, damn. I just refreshed and it loaded in IE.... wallbash.gif )
