Not sure which ad you saw, they usually come out in bunches. But I did see one where the "PC" guy supposedly had a live feed at a store selling Windows 7. The 'reporter' ask how they liked the new OS. Of course, they all had a reason
not to buy/have/use it!
"I just bought a Mac!" "We bought a Mac, also. If we're going to have to move all this stuff, why not move it to a better machine?" Etc. The "PC" guy finally cuts off the feed and calls for a commercial. The "Mac" gently reminds him that "this
is a commercial."
Actually, although it has absolutely nothing to do with cartoons, Windows or Macs, I saw a very funny commercial for Geico(sp?) a few days ago. A snazzy sports car comes squealing out of a parking garage and hits a pothole! As the car leaves the left side of the screen, you can hear the clank of a hubcap falling off (at least) and the hissing of air from at least one tire! Naturally, it is pouring rain! OK? Now the fun begins. The pothole starts talking! Apologizing for the damage and quite a number of other things. The speech is even funnier because of the sugary sweet Southern drawl of the ladies false sense of shane at causing the damage! Keep an eye out for it. And
nogecko[/b] in sight!!
Obviously the agency, if it’s the same one that does the gecko ads, love to 'play' with dialects.
The one in the car and the pothole is all American, extremely Southern Alabama/Mississippi American! :roftl:
