Mac Office 2004 Excel question
« on: November 05, 2009, 08:49:04 AM »
In a cell, why is there a small triangle in the upper left corner of a cell sometimes and sometimes not?
And this with a similar cell content in several cells. See picture.

Apparently it is a preference.

QUOTE
One way:

Uncheck the "Unlocked cells containing formulas" checkbox in
Preferences/Error Checking.

Another:
Select the cell(s) with the green triangle. A smart button will appear
with a yellow diamond and an exclamation point. Click the button. Choose
"Ignore Error" from the dropdown.
