Google OS vs Windows, a fair fight?

I predict those who are "PC lazy" will love Chrome because they don't need to install applications or keep up to date with any of the security problems of Windows.

They will flock to it and write all over the web about how it has freed them from the shackles of MS.

Then after their data is compromised, or the servers go down, or are overloaded when they need access to a file, or oddly, they will have to pay for the service and/or wade through advertisements, etc....  fool.gif

My favorite comment:
QUOTE
This has got to be the stupidest idea to come along since the PC Jr. Okay so say you are a senior executive for a fortune 500 company and you have all of your important papers tucked safely away in the "cloud". Then bam.. Lightning storm takes out your internet link on the way to the most important meeting of your career.... Well, I hope you remember how to sling burgers... I will NEVER trust my software or data to some anonymous server somewhere. I like my data and applications right on one of my hard disks where I can have full control of it. Anyone who relies on a cloud of distant servers to hold ANY data of theirs is a moron...
