I figure you guys will get a kick out of this--
I submit a ticket to LaCie online because of a power problem with my hard drive. The drive goes through strobe like power intervals where it will cycle on/off about every second to two seconds for an instant, like a strobe. I reckon that its a problem with the power supply so I ask LaCie Support in the ticket to exchange the power supply.
They send me a new power supply--
and it's the wrong one.
Ok, I understand that they may have screwed up. So I tell them that they sent me the wrong power supply (I was sent the 4-pin when my HD takes the traditional round transformer plug).
I receive the
second power supply today...
and it too is the WRONG ONE!!
HOW HARD IS IT TO SEND ME THE RIGHT POWER SUPPLY FOR MY DARN HARD DRIVE
WHEN YOU HAVE THE SERIAL NUMBER FOR MY DRIVE ON FILE
AND KNOW EXACTLY WHICH MODEL IT IS...!!!...
...!!!
I'm submitting another post to my ticket telling them that they screwed up
AGAIN...
and maybe this time they'll send me the correct power supply...
especially considering that I posted a link to show them the
correct one.
I'll keep y'all posted on how this goes...
(and do one of the TS Geezers know how I can make my hair grow back? I may not have any left by the time this is over...)
