New MacHeist nanoBundle

$19.95 - RapidWeaver is normally $79, so it alone makes it worthwhile. While I still haven't used it to build a web site - I do all my work in Dreamweaver and by hand - I keep getting it as part of MacHeist bundles, mostly to see what it can do and just in case I end up working with a client who wants to use it. Of course, it's a cheap way to upgrade to the next version too!

Other apps:

MacJournal (writing app)
RipIt (ripping DVDs to your Mac - handy if you want to watch stuff on iPods/phones etc.)
Clips (multiple clipboard app)
CoverScout (finds cover art for your iTunes collection that iTunes hasn't found)
Flow (FTP client that also includes editing capabilities ...very cool and most interesting to me...)
Tales of Monkey Island (game - unlocked when they sell 50,000 bundles)

In total, $260 worth of apps for $19.95. Not bad if you need/want any of them - Ripit is the only one that normally sells for $20, the rest range from $25-$79 each.

Never thought about the "upgrade" usage! doh.gif I usually just trash these email notices if I don't need/want or already have the apps offered. dntknw.gif In the only way I know that we are similar, I also have RW and have never built anything with it! rofl.gif I always come up against the same problem with apps like it: Use of templates. The html/css is the easy part, making a site look appealing, without extraneous/useless junque, is the part where I collide with the reality that my artist skill have only decreased since Kindergarten! blush-anim-cl.gif Yet these apps have such limited styles/templates, even though many of RW's are editable. It's the graphics that I need and I can't afford the really nice but costly stuff. Oh well, at least I don't even try to make any money at that stuff! laughhard.gif

There are inexpensive third-party RW templates that are quite nice and professional in appearance. They can be purchased individually and bundled. The RW Web site has links to template developer Web sites.
