OT: How far is Washington & Philadephia from NY?

Sorry to post a off topic. Can anyone tell me how far is how far is Washington & Philadephia from NY? How many hours of bus? I will be NY and thinking of visiting Washington and Philadephia.

   The best ( and fastest)way to get to Philadephia & Washington from NYC is to take the AMTRAK Metroliner train.

Philadelphia is about 2 hours by car from NYC - depending on where exactly you start, traffic etc. Washington, DC is about another 2.5 hours further.  (Philadelphia is on the way to Washington)

If you want to check out driving distances/times between places, see http://www.mapsonus.com - you don't have to enter a street address, a city and state will do.

You can also call up maps of places - including specific street addresses. Very handy.

Bus travel will probably take a little longer than driving by car, so add that to your calculations.

Also - check out http://www.greyhound.com for bus info.

Trivia question: Which state (or states) have the most "Interstate" highways?
Rules: They just have to be called (named) Interstate highways, even if they don't cross a state border. Bypass highways don't count, just two- digit Interstates, even if the 3-digit one is longer than a two digit one that doesn't cross a border.
Try to guess before looking at an atlas. That will make for more fun. I've already cheated. Or, look at a US highway map, and guess based on a quick look, without counting.
