The BBC programme is described as a defence of the American South against the image perpetrated by Hollywood – "sifting truth from fiction". Hall was born in Charlotte, North Carolina.

A very readable feature on the comedian and his 90-minute film is on the Daily Telegraph site

Basically, it's the Beeb's version of Flashplayer and is DRM protected. Sometimes items cannot be watched outside the UK - and there's no way for me to know that until someone outside the UK tells me

I use it regularly without problems, so why not give it a go?
