Pirate Mad Bess Vane

Every pirate is a little bit crazy. You, though, are more than just a little bit. You tend to blend into the background occasionally, but that's okay, because it's much easier to sneak up on people and disembowel them that way. Arr!

They had a fund raiser at the grocery store we frequent that had the kids that worked there dressed as pirates and they took turns making loot for the Boys and Girls Club by being locked in "Pirate Prison" till friends bailed them out!  Looks like they were having more fun in jail then they would by working!

Frances,

Are those old building ruin in the background of the second picture? And an old stone wall?

Inquiring minds want to know.

Neat pics!

In the second picture, Be-Anne is sitting on top of a hill of one of my little crofts (farm) called Clothie.

Those are the dry-stone walls that divide the old croft up into working land, or fields, as well as the derelict house and shed.  I have put up a proper perimeter stock fence around the whole area.  The house is of the but and ben style (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/But_and_ben) and was also a school at one time.  It has its own water supply (a spring) and is a lovely place to hide in!

Beyond that is my great big indoor riding arena and then to the left you can just make out the end of my little house  - another but and ben.  I also own the green hill field on the other side.
