I'm married to a licence-holder biggrin.gif

One of the things Caroline did after being made redundant was to take the course. Because she was on the jobless register, the government paid the fees to the college. She now has a certificate to show she knows the basics of Word, Excel and PowerPoint. She's been using computers for about 20 years, both Mac and PC, but almost solely for desktop publishing (Quark and InDesign) and wanted to broaden her knowledge base. Her percentages in each section were in the 90s, so she had high hopes the course would help her into office work if all else failed.

Then she was offered - and accepted - a job on a newspaper. Using QXP on a PC  rolleyes.gif

Still, as you can imagine, she IS happy to be working again thumbup.gif
