Well not really new.
Didn't know about MicroCenter till I literally stumbled across one.

Locations


The store was well organized.
They had a 'Mac' area that was fairly large and stocked up with the latest gadgets.
Best part was the guys overseeing the mac area appeared to know what they were talking about when I overheard them giving advise.

Bit on the pricey side though.

Hi Bill,

There's a MicroCenter just outside of Philadelphia. Actually, it's pretty close to the Apple Store that opened. I've been in there a few times--including when I was shoping for my first Mac. I've had the same experiences as you. I found them to have a decent stock, with people that seemed to know their stuff. But boy, they weren't cheap!  eek2.gif

There larger items are priced by what the manufactures suggested Rob but they sure make up the slack on the smaller items! Take some plastic when going there. <gr>

Nope, I'm afraid where I spent too long today was in the basement... cleaning up under the stairs...

there I found a crop of "dust bunnies" that have likely been here since I moved in (1980). I'm definately older than those puppies...  tongue.gif
